Are these physical posts exactly 36" tall?+

No, they are actually taller to allow for side bolting! The 36" system uses a 44" physical post. The extra length drops down below the deck floor to securely anchor into your fascia joists.

T304 stainless steel offers phenomenal rust and corrosion resistance for almost all outdoor environments.
