We surface-mounted the posts directly onto our concrete retaining wall along the patio drop-off, and having the matching black posts, top handrail, and cable hardware all together made ordering and install so much easier. The black look matches our dark exterior flawlessly, and the thin cables keep our backyard sunset view completely open.

Love this BLIKA side-mount railing kit! The quality is great and the whole thing feels rock-solid. We used both the level and stair side-mount posts to keep our stairs as wide as possible, and topped them with our own wood handrails to match the house. The cables tightened up easily with zero sag.

Super impressed with the quality of both the wire cable and the tensioning fittings—everything completely exceeded my expectations. We fabricated our own steel posts and handrails, but bought all the cable and hardware from this shop, and they paired with our setup flawlessly. (Excuse the blue tape and cardboard on the steps, we’re still wrapping up paint and trim, but I couldn't wait to share!)

Ordered the BLIKA 36" level aluminum railing kit with 39" posts to replace the old wooden rails on our deck, and it turned out great. The panels being pre-assembled definitely saved us a ton of drill time. The black powder coat finish looks very clean, and the aluminum pickets feel thick and heavy in hand-way better quality than what we saw at the local big-box store.
Installation took me and a buddy a full Saturday. As you can tell from the pictures, the outer rim joist of our deck wasn't completely level, so we had to cut and screw down some 2x4 wood blocks underneath the base plates to shim them level before anchoring. Once everything was bolted down with the included brackets, the railing is completely rigid with no give. Solid DIY deck railing for the price.

I love my corner cover plate!

We bought BLIKA's surface mount level posts for the main deck and picked up the matching stair posts to finish off the 3 steps leading down into the yard. The pre-drilled holes on both the level and angled posts made running the stainless cables super straightforward, and once bolted down and tensioned, the whole system is rock solid with zero flex. The matte black finish pairs beautifully with our grey siding and composite decking, and it completely keeps our view of the flowers and garden open. High-quality hardware and a truly seamless DIY project!

We recently remodeled our interior staircase with light oak treads and wanted a modern cable look, but our stairway isn’t super wide. Traditional surface mount posts would have eaten up at least 3–4 inches of walking space. Going with these BLIKA side-mount posts was the best decision we made!

We built a new composite deck right next to the pool behind our house and wanted a railing that wouldn't block the open view of the trees. After comparing multiple brands, we went with this BLIKA black surface mount cable railing kit, and it honestly exceeded all our expectations.
The pre-drilled posts made the layout so much easier and saved hours of measuring. The hardware feels heavy-duty, and once anchored down into the blocking and tensioned, the whole setup is rock solid with zero wobble. The matte black powder coat is flawless and matches the black window trim on our home perfectly.
We also added post cap lights on top of the posts, and as you can see in the night photo, the reflections over the pool look like an upscale resort. We've had neighbors and friends asking where we got the railing. Top-tier quality for a DIY kit—100% recommended!

Very nice toolto have. Angle came out perfectly.

I was very impressed with this product. Everything fit together very well, looks stylish, and was impressed with the response from customer service. I would highly recommend these products. Very easy to assemble and looked great. My only issue was with cutting the rails to size, especially at the corners. Being the product is made of stainless steel; I struggled cutting the material without burning the painted surface. They do provide covers for the seams and the corners, however I was hoping to have a seamless looking handrail without the covers.

The railing’s were very nice the only thing is the base covers for the post are very thin and some were dented. The other suggestion I have is put an extra cable tensioner in each even if you change a little more because if you make one mistake you have to buy and wait for another pack.

Project was a great experience and Kylie was a great person and really helped me out during the process. The only issue I had was a lot of multiple shipments and 1 item got lost in transit but they sent a replacement quickly. The only issue I had was the screws to mount the railing was very difficult to drill and screw into it. I would suggest you find a better screw without a phiiip head maybe a hex head self drilling screws.

I installed these handrails on an interior staircase in my home. I have been getting a lot of comments on how beautiful it looks.Thank you Blika for a great product

I’m a 67 year old Dad-taught carpenter rebuilding a 40 year old deck with Ipe. The Blika delivery arrived in December but we had to wait until spring to treat the end cuts of the wood. (Who knew?)

When we were finally ready to install the railing, we discovered some items were missing from our order. Blika sent us $800 in fasteners, no questions asked even though UPS said they had been delivered. Thank you Blika!

If you’re like me and you don’t read instructions, be sure to install the top rail before stringing the cables, or the posts will pull together and you’ll have to redo it. We ripped some decking boards to make the top rails. Looks great and it’s very sturdy.

We wanted a railing that wouldn't block our waterfront view, and this cable system nailed it. The contrast between the warm wood deck and the sharp black cable posts looks amazing. It feels incredibly heavy-duty and safe for kids and guests, yet visually lightweight. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how clean the deck looks now. Highly recommend to anyone upgrading their outdoor space!
