The components in this BLIKA cable railing system diy kit are solid. The black finish is sleek and didn't scratch during install. My only gripe is the paper instructions were a bit confusing, I just watched a YouTube video instead. Once we figured it out, the install went fast.
Finally finished our deck using the BLIKA cable railing system diy kit. Honestly, measuring took forever (measure twice cut once!!), but the result is sick. The hardware feels heavy and expensive, definitely not cheap junk. If you want that modern look without paying a contractor $10k, just get this BLIKA set.
I ordered 23 posts, which arrived in several different boxes. Customer service was excellent; they explained why they were shipped separately. Overall, installation was simple, and the railings look fantastic. See the pictures!
We decided to keep our existing 4x4 cedar posts but wanted to ditch the old balusters. Bought the BLIKA stainless steel cable and the lag screw fasteners to run through the wood. The hardware anchored into the wood posts solidly (make sure you pre-drill!). The wire ropes look super clean against the stained wood and tensioned up easily.
We used this BLIKA railing system to swap out our outdated stairs and are incredibly happy at the outcome. The kit has high-quality mounting hardware for the subfloor (wood or concrete), and we added a wood handrail with black 1/8 inch black cable wire. My husband did the install using the included instructions and online visual instillation help, but just a heads up, you WILL need these specific items to finish the job: a pneumatic crimper, 5/16" ID Black Angle Washers for Cable Railing Stair Ends, and the Stainless Steel 30 Degree Black Angle Beveled Washer for 1/8", 3/16" Cable Railing Hardware. You also need the Cable Railing Angled Washer for the posts.
This BLIKA cable railing kit is an incredible value. It literally came with everything I needed, all the specialized hardware, tensioners, and plenty of cable. It takes the guesswork out of ordering separate parts, which I hate. The BLIKA system looks amazing, it's low-maintenance, and the unobstructed view is exactly what we wanted. If you're doing a full deck renovation, this kit makes it simple.
Once it's pulled tight between the posts, it virtually disappears! That wide-open view is exactly why we went with a cable railing system. The cable is high-quality, pulled taut without any issue, and holds the tension perfectly. It completely changed the whole dynamic of our backyard. Love the clean lines and the open air feeling BLIKA gave us.
The handrail from BLIKA ties the whole system together beautifully. It sits perfectly on top of the posts and feels very secure and comfortable to lean on. We chose the matching black handrail, and it gives the cable railing a polished, finished look. It was the easiest part of the BLIKA install

I guess the railing it ok but the company selling it sucks. You dont receive your order in one delivery. You give them an exact drawing of what you need and they short you on parts and dont offer a couple extras like other companies do. So instead of them sending me one extra fastener i havevto buy 20

We selected BLIKA posts to upgrade our deck railings. Seriously, this thing is a game-changer for a DIYer. It was super easy to install thanks to the pre-drilled holes, and the matte black finish is absolutely gorgeous and so modern. The structural support is rock solid. We had a small snag with shipping, but the BLIKA customer support team was incredibly responsive and fixed it immediately. Now the railing looks absolutely fantastic, and our view is completely open.
