I designed this deck to be minimal, and BLIKA delivered. As a pro, I don't have time to search for every single tensioner and cap. Their one-stop kit is the way to go. I sent my dimensions, and they sent a complete system that looks bespoke. The finish is clean, the cables are solid, and most importantly, it saved me hours of sourcing.
As an architect, I needed a railing that didn't eat into the square footage of this tight loft. I specified the BLIKA 42-inch level drilled side mount posts because mounting to the fascia was the only way to keep the walkway clear. The hole alignment on these side mount posts is incredibly precise, which is crucial when you're running long stretches of cable railing. It handled the spiral staircase transition beautifully, giving my clients a safe, modern barrier that feels completely open.
I wanted to create an "invisible" railing to better appreciate the forest views. I chose BLIKA 36-inch Level drilled cable rail posts because their height is just right, and they won't obstruct the view, even when I'm sitting there enjoying a drink. These 36-inch posts are of exceptional quality, strong enough to withstand high cable tension without bending or deforming. This is the best solution for creating a professional, high-end look while preserving the beautiful natural landscape.
After installing the BLIKA cable railing system, I couldn't be happier with the result. The kit came with everything I needed, and I had no problem setting it up on my balcony. It really opened up the view of the trees in the background, just like the one in the product image. The powder-coated steel is durable, and I feel confident that it will last for years. This system has really elevated the look of my outdoor space, and I get so many compliments from friends and family. Plus, the setup was incredibly easy for a DIY project!
I recently installed the BLIKA 36" Black Surface Mount Cable Railing System on my deck, and it's made such a difference! The design blends perfectly with the natural surroundings. I love how the modern look enhances my outdoor space without overwhelming it. The installation process was straightforward, and the railing is incredibly sturdy. I can now enjoy my backyard with a beautiful view, just like in the picture. It's exactly what I needed for both safety and style! Highly recommend this product for anyone looking for quality and simplicity.
We decided to paint our old deck this fun turquoise color and didn't want heavy wood pickets ruining the vibe. We grabbed this BLIKA stainless steel cable to run through the wood posts ourselves. The quality is great it cuts clean and doesn't fray. The best part is the wire ropes are so thin you can see right through them (nice view of Old Glory in the back!). It was way cheaper than buying a full cable railing system diy kit, we just drilled the holes and installed the hardware. Super happy with the fresh look.
We are remodeling an old commercial space into a home and this cable railing system diy kit fits the industrial vibe perfectly. The black posts look great against the exposed beams and white walls. I'll be honest, doing the layout for the stairs took some math to get the angles right, but the installation itself wasn't bad. The stainless steel cable keeps the space feeling open and airy, which is exactly what we needed for the mezzanine. One tip: make sure you have a good cutter for the wire ropes, it makes a huge difference. Super happy with the result.
Our second-floor deck originally didn't have railings, and I didn't want the hassle of piecing together parts from different sellers. This BLIKA all-in-one kit was a lifesaver. It includes everything posts, handrails, and hardware. The black finish matches our window frames perfectly (see picture). Installation was very simple, provided the spacing was correct. This DIY cable railing system kit feels incredibly sturdy and remains stable even with such a large span. The stainless steel cables are of high quality, creating the "invisible" effect we wanted.
Still in the middle of a full remodel (ignore the blue tape and unfinished walls lol), but I had to review these BLIKA posts. We wanted to mix warm wood with modern black metal, and these posts were the perfect choice. They are heavy and bolted down solid to the treads. I was nervous about the stair angles, but building our own cable railing system diy kit using these pre drilled posts was actually straightforward. We just finished running the stainless steel cable and it looks awesome.
We live right on the river and moisture is usually a killer for outdoor metal, so I was picky about what posts to buy. These BLIKA posts are legit the black powder coating feels super thick and durable, not cheap paint that will flake off in a year.
We chose BLIKA posts because we wanted to create a sense of openness. The matte black finish complements our dark green wall paint perfectly. These posts are incredibly sturdy and durable. I was a little worried they might wobble beforehand, but once bolted to the subfloor, they're very secure. Installing them on a carpeted floor was a bit tricky, but it was all worth it. Last night we laid the stainless steel cables and tightened them. It looks very neat and tidy.
Matches our house remodel perfectly! We completely redid our exterior (teal siding + dark deck) and needed something sleek. This BLIKA cable railing system diy kit was exactly what we were looking for. The black posts pop against the wood accents. Installation on the flat deck was a breeze, but fair warning: the stairs took some patience to get the angles right. The stainless steel cable is super high quality and doesn't block the view of the yard at all. I was worried about the wire ropes fraying when cut, but they stayed tight. It's a massive upgrade from our old wood rails.
We wanted a specific style to match the lines in our hallway, so we went with these BLIKA posts. The quality is honestly impressive, thick steel, not that thin, hollow kind. The pre-drilled holes were lined up perfectly, which made installing the stainless steel cable and wire ropes super fast. We basically built our own cable railing system diy kit using these and a wood top rail, and it looks pro.
We have a balcony overlooking the woods (peep the RV down there lol) and I refused to put up chunky wood rails that block the sight. This BLIKA handrail was the perfect solution. It has a super low profile but feels heavy and safe when you lean on it to drink your morning coffee. The matte black finish looks seamless next to our glass walls.
We have a log-siding home and I was terrified that a black metal railing would look out of place. I was wrong looks amazing. We rebuilt the deck frame (still need to skirt the bottom, don't judge the green wood lol) and installed this BLIKA cable railing system diy kit last weekend. The contrast between the rustic wood and the black posts is perfect. The stainless steel cable is practically invisible from the living room, so we finally have a clear view of the yard. The wire ropes tensioned up easily even on the stair section, which I thought would be a nightmare.
The components in this BLIKA cable railing system diy kit are solid. The black finish is sleek and didn't scratch during install. My only gripe is the paper instructions were a bit confusing, I just watched a YouTube video instead. Once we figured it out, the install went fast.
Finally finished our deck using the BLIKA cable railing system diy kit. Honestly, measuring took forever (measure twice cut once!!), but the result is sick. The hardware feels heavy and expensive, definitely not cheap junk. If you want that modern look without paying a contractor $10k, just get this BLIKA set.
We decided to keep our existing 4x4 cedar posts but wanted to ditch the old balusters. Bought the BLIKA stainless steel cable and the lag screw fasteners to run through the wood. The hardware anchored into the wood posts solidly (make sure you pre-drill!). The wire ropes look super clean against the stained wood and tensioned up easily.
I ordered 23 posts, which arrived in several different boxes. Customer service was excellent; they explained why they were shipped separately. Overall, installation was simple, and the railings look fantastic. See the pictures!
We used this BLIKA railing system to swap out our outdated stairs and are incredibly happy at the outcome. The kit has high-quality mounting hardware for the subfloor (wood or concrete), and we added a wood handrail with black 1/8 inch black cable wire. My husband did the install using the included instructions and online visual instillation help, but just a heads up, you WILL need these specific items to finish the job: a pneumatic crimper, 5/16" ID Black Angle Washers for Cable Railing Stair Ends, and the Stainless Steel 30 Degree Black Angle Beveled Washer for 1/8", 3/16" Cable Railing Hardware. You also need the Cable Railing Angled Washer for the posts.
This BLIKA cable railing kit is an incredible value. It literally came with everything I needed, all the specialized hardware, tensioners, and plenty of cable. It takes the guesswork out of ordering separate parts, which I hate. The BLIKA system looks amazing, it's low-maintenance, and the unobstructed view is exactly what we wanted. If you're doing a full deck renovation, this kit makes it simple.
Once it's pulled tight between the posts, it virtually disappears! That wide-open view is exactly why we went with a cable railing system. The cable is high-quality, pulled taut without any issue, and holds the tension perfectly. It completely changed the whole dynamic of our backyard. Love the clean lines and the open air feeling BLIKA gave us.
The handrail from BLIKA ties the whole system together beautifully. It sits perfectly on top of the posts and feels very secure and comfortable to lean on. We chose the matching black handrail, and it gives the cable railing a polished, finished look. It was the easiest part of the BLIKA install
The cable railing looks phenomenal against the black posts. This low-maintenance cable is definitely built to last. Zero regrets about choosing BLIKA for our deck!
I guess the railing it ok but the company selling it sucks. You dont receive your order in one delivery. You give them an exact drawing of what you need and they short you on parts and dont offer a couple extras like other companies do. So instead of them sending me one extra fastener i havevto buy 20
This is unexceptable for a company to do
