Are these physical posts exactly 36" and 42" tall?+

No, they are actually taller to allow for side bolting! The 36" system uses a 44" physical post, and the 42" system uses a 50" physical post. The extra length drops down below the deck floor to securely anchor into your fascia joists.

Will this T304 stainless steel rust outdoors?+
