Went bold with the blue, cable makes it pop!

We decided to paint our old deck this fun turquoise color and didn't want heavy wood pickets ruining the vibe. We grabbed this BLIKA stainless steel cable to run through the wood posts ourselves. The quality is great it cuts clean and doesn't fray. The best part is the wire ropes are so thin you can see right through them (nice view of Old Glory in the back!). It was way cheaper than buying a full cable railing system diy kit, we just drilled the holes and installed the hardware. Super happy with the fresh look.

Perfect retrofit for my wood deck

We decided to keep our existing 4x4 cedar posts but wanted to ditch the old balusters. Bought the BLIKA stainless steel cable and the lag screw fasteners to run through the wood. The hardware anchored into the wood posts solidly (make sure you pre-drill!). The wire ropes look super clean against the stained wood and tensioned up easily.

Cable Vanishes!

Once it's pulled tight between the posts, it virtually disappears! That wide-open view is exactly why we went with a cable railing system. The cable is high-quality, pulled taut without any issue, and holds the tension perfectly. It completely changed the whole dynamic of our backyard. Love the clean lines and the open air feeling BLIKA gave us.

Industrial look for the new loft!

We are remodeling an old commercial space into a home and this cable railing system diy kit fits the industrial vibe perfectly. The black posts look great against the exposed beams and white walls. I'll be honest, doing the layout for the stairs took some math to get the angles right, but the installation itself wasn't bad. The stainless steel cable keeps the space feeling open and airy, which is exactly what we needed for the mezzanine. One tip: make sure you have a good cutter for the wire ropes, it makes a huge difference. Super happy with the result.

Transformed our upper deck

Our second-floor deck originally didn't have railings, and I didn't want the hassle of piecing together parts from different sellers. This BLIKA all-in-one kit was a lifesaver. It includes everything posts, handrails, and hardware. The black finish matches our window frames perfectly (see picture). Installation was very simple, provided the spacing was correct. This DIY cable railing system kit feels incredibly sturdy and remains stable even with such a large span. The stainless steel cables are of high quality, creating the "invisible" effect we wanted.

Coming together nicely (pardon the mess!)

Still in the middle of a full remodel (ignore the blue tape and unfinished walls lol), but I had to review these BLIKA posts. We wanted to mix warm wood with modern black metal, and these posts were the perfect choice. They are heavy and bolted down solid to the treads. I was nervous about the stair angles, but building our own cable railing system diy kit using these pre drilled posts was actually straightforward. We just finished running the stainless steel cable and it looks awesome.

We live right on the river and moisture is usually a killer for outdoor metal, so I was picky about what posts to buy. These BLIKA posts are legit the black powder coating feels super thick and durable, not cheap paint that will flake off in a year.
