Went bold with the blue, cable makes it pop!

We decided to paint our old deck this fun turquoise color and didn't want heavy wood pickets ruining the vibe. We grabbed this BLIKA stainless steel cable to run through the wood posts ourselves. The quality is great it cuts clean and doesn't fray. The best part is the wire ropes are so thin you can see right through them (nice view of Old Glory in the back!). It was way cheaper than buying a full cable railing system diy kit, we just drilled the holes and installed the hardware. Super happy with the fresh look.

Perfect retrofit for my wood deck

We decided to keep our existing 4x4 cedar posts but wanted to ditch the old balusters. Bought the BLIKA stainless steel cable and the lag screw fasteners to run through the wood. The hardware anchored into the wood posts solidly (make sure you pre-drill!). The wire ropes look super clean against the stained wood and tensioned up easily.

Cable Vanishes!

Once it's pulled tight between the posts, it virtually disappears! That wide-open view is exactly why we went with a cable railing system. The cable is high-quality, pulled taut without any issue, and holds the tension perfectly. It completely changed the whole dynamic of our backyard. Love the clean lines and the open air feeling BLIKA gave us.

Simple specs, professional result
