very smooth, no burrs

this cable feels of a heavy, quality weight & has a smooth, soft finish without burrs or split, sharp wiring. it feels almost like a wax like finish how well made it is.

This is a nice stainless steel cable for balustrades. 316 means it’s supposed to be very corrosion resistant and could be used in marine environment or near winter highways, where salty breeze would corrode a lesser quality stainless steel, such as 304.
You could see on my photos that it fits black 1/8” diameter crimping screws used for wooden posts.

Looks great in black, and appears well made

While I am totally new to the DIY cable railing projects, this black railing cable is absolutely wonderful. I am so happy with the black cable color, and am glad I went with black instead of regular silver stainless steel. I really don’t know what I was so afraid of when starting this project, the cable is really easy to use, the reel it comes on is strong, and the cable had no loose strands that cut my hands or anything. I love the way it looks now that it is finished, and I think I want to do a black stainless railing on my basement staircase now because it is such a great looking finished product.

Received a partial order from Blika. Still waiting on my 4"Swag lag screws. Have reached out to them for the past 3 days and have still not gotten a reply. Extremely bad customer service. Being in business for my self I know how important it is to give your customers a good service. WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN
